TJESDS emerges in response to this need, embracing a holistic vision rooted in sustainability. Thus, the journal has its core mandate in the following areas. The Environmental and Health Perspective serves as a foundational pillar, highlighting the interdependence between ecological systems and human well-being. The journal encourages research on biodiversity, climate change, pollution, environmental health risks, and sustainable natural resource management—especially as they affect public health outcomes.

The Educational Perspective underscores the transformative power of knowledge. TJESDS is particularly interested in both formal and non-formal education initiatives that promote awareness, critical thinking, and competencies for sustainable living, including innovations in Environmental Education and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).

The Economic and Global Perspective invites contributions that interrogate economic models and global cooperation in advancing sustainable growth. Emphasis is placed on inclusive development, poverty reduction, green and circular economies, as well as the role of international partnerships in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Technological Perspective recognizes the critical role of innovation in driving sustainability transitions. The Ethical/Moral Perspective frames sustainability as a matter of justice and responsibility across generations. TJESDS promotes discourse on ethical leadership, environmental stewardship, and the moral imperatives of safeguarding the planet for future generations.

Through these perspectives, the Transdisciplinary Journal of Education and Sustainable Development Studies aims to serve as a dynamic forum for researchers, educators, policymakers, and practitioners committed to co-creating knowledge and solutions that are inclusive, equitable, and transformative.
